Pricing & weight limits
- How much does a dumpster rental cost in Fruitland, Idaho?

- How much weight is included, and what happens if I go over?
- 4 tons is included in every rental. Go over that and it's a flat $95 per ton, weighed at the landfill's certified scale and passed through at cost with the scale ticket on your invoice — no markup.
- Is there a maximum weight the dumpster can hold?
- Our 15-yard bins are built to safely carry up to about 6 tons total (the included 4, plus up to 2 more at the overage rate). If your project is heavy — a full load of concrete, dirt, sod, or a roofing tear-off — call us first at (208) 740-3044 and we'll help you plan the load so you're not stuck mid-project.
- Are there any hidden fees?
- No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee, no "admin" line item. The only things that can add to the base price are tonnage past 4 tons ($95/ton) and mileage past 20 miles ($4/mile) — both quoted up front, never a surprise on the invoice.
- What's a "swap" and when do I need one?
- A swap is when you fill the bin before your rental's up. We haul it to the landfill, dump it, and drop the same bin back — $150, and your rental clock keeps running. Useful for bigger cleanouts that outpace a single 15-yard load.
Sizing & what fits
- What size dumpster do you offer?
- One size, done right: a 15-yard roll-off. It's big enough for most remodels, cleanouts, and yard jobs, and small enough to sit comfortably in a residential driveway.
- How many pickup truck loads does a 15-yard dumpster replace?
- Roughly 4–5 full pickup truck loads. That's 4–5 trips to the transfer station — the sorting, the weighing, the waiting in line — replaced by one delivery and one pickup at your address.
- Will a 15-yard dumpster handle a full garage or estate cleanout?
- In most cases, yes. Garages are the most cluttered room in the average home, and a single bin usually clears one all the way out. Bigger estate or whole-house cleanouts sometimes need a swap — call and we'll size it up over the phone.
- What about heavy material like concrete, dirt, or shingles?
- Heavy debris hits the weight limit long before it fills the bin visually — a roofing tear-off alone can run 2–3 tons. If your project is concrete, dirt, sod, rock, or a full roof, call before you start so we can size the load and avoid an overage surprise.
What can (and can't) go in
- Can I throw away a mattress, couch, or old appliance?
- Mattresses and furniture, yes — break furniture down if you can, you'll fit twice as much. Most appliances are fine too; fridges and freezers just need the refrigerant removed first, so mention those when you book.
- What items are not allowed in the dumpster?
- Tires, batteries, liquid paint and stains, lacquers and solvents, and hazardous waste (chemicals, fuels, oils, pesticides, asbestos) can't go in a roll-off — the landfill turns them away. See the full list and drop-off alternatives on our prohibited items page.
- What happens if a prohibited item ends up in my load?
- The landfill rejects it, we have to pull it out, and any disposal fees or fines pass through at cost. When in doubt, call before you toss it: (208) 740-3044.
Delivery, placement & permits
- Where will you place the dumpster?
- Most bins go in the driveway for easy loading. We've placed hundreds of them and will walk you through positioning and board protection to keep concrete and asphalt safe. On rural or gravel properties, our trailer can also set a bin on gravel, dirt, or pasture.
- Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
- Not with proper placement. Ask about board protection when you book, especially in hot weather — we'll tell you what we recommend for your surface.
- Do I need a permit to put a dumpster in my driveway or on the street?
- Driveway placement usually needs no permit. If a bin has to sit in the street or right-of-way, check with your city first — permit rules vary by town in the Treasure Valley, and we're happy to talk through it with you.
- How much notice do you need before delivery?
- Next-day delivery is often possible, and same-day sometimes works if you're close to Fruitland. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, so contractors and anyone with a fixed demo date should book ahead rather than wait for the morning of.
